State Reporter: Kadence Boender

Kadence is the daughter of Mark and Katie Boender of Doon, Iowa. She is the oldest of six siblings, and her family is a foster family. She is currently studying at Iowa State University where she is pursuing a degree in Animal Science and Agriculture Education as well as minors in Political Science, Spanish Translation and Interpretation Studies. On campus, she is involved in the professional agricultural sorority Sigma Alpha Delta, the Country Swing Club where she is a social media coordinator, and the Cardinal Tap Club. She enjoys working with her animals, being out in the field with her grandpa, running, spending time with her siblings and friends, and advocating for what she believes in. Kadence can’t wait to meet Iowa FFA members and create a year full of memories with them in the organization.
