Southeast Vice President: Cody Messer

Cody is the son of Dan and Crissi Messer, and is the youngest brother to Curtis and Catie. He grew up on their family farm outside New London, IA. Throughout high school Cody has been involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Mediapolis Clay Commanders, IJBBA, 4-H, and of course FFA. Cody’s passion for agriculture began on the farm, and has been able to grow that passion for agriculture through FFA. Some of Cody’s favorite activities include livestock judging, showing cattle, trap competition, camping with friends and family, attending the Des Moines County & Iowa State Fair, and advocating for agriculture. Cody is continuing his education at Iowa State University where he will major in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. Cody is excited to connect with members across the state and help them find their path in agriculture through FFA!
